Contesting speedy deletion

[edit]

Notable enough, she was the lead singer of two well-known Filipino rock bands of the 1990s, Tropical Depression and Elektrikcoolaid. Her lingering illness was widely talked about in the Filipino online community and led to at least 12 benefit gigs in Manila fronted by prominent popular figures in the Filipino rock community. Her death was reported in the online edition of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the highest circulation newspaper in the Philippines, and her full-length obituary will most certainly appear in tomorrow's editions of the top Philippine newspapers. --Anyo Niminus (talk) 13:00, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep There are plenty of really obscure American singers with EXTENSIVE articles in wikipedia. Let's be a bit more world-aware and accept this one. Williamb (talk) 13:03, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Agreed. I see absolutely no reason to delete at all. Lachewpacabra 11 January 2009 (UTC)

The spelling of her name in the title is incorrect, it should be "Anabel". User:RASGO
