Bangkok Patana
[edit]It's pretty hard to get kicked out of Patana. Students weren't even suspended in those days when they were found with beer on campus.
- According to his father, he wasn't kicked out and this has been removed from the article. — WiseKwai 14:33, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Factual corrections to Ananda's biography by his father
[edit]The following was added to the article on 12:33, 25 March 2007 by User:Johneve, it has been moved here complete — WiseKwai 14:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ananda was born in and grew up in Thailand, not Australia, though he is an Australian citizen. As a child he visited Australia often during school holidays, and sometimes went to school there during the holidays for short periods- for 'Australian' experience. He was educated at Bangkok Patana International School in Bangkok, and was not expelled from school. Two years after he began working in movies (at age 14) he changed to a tutoring school (at age 16) where he could follow more flexible courses and times while filming.
- He only worked part-time in our restaurant Himali Cha Cha, and the option of sending him to Darjeeling for schooling was only one of many educational options considered - not a plan. But indeed, he was discovered by Grammy's star-maker, Khun Mingkwan, in the restaurant while working part-time in the restaurant bar.
Ananda is the first of my three sons. John Everingham
