Requested move 17 September 2021

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. as requested per WP:SINGERDAB. Discussion has generated consensus that the American R&B musician is not the primary topic. If there exists consensus that Shy FX (the other musical Andre Williams) is mostly known for his work in musical fields other than producing music, especially electronic dance music, then I see no problem in requesting another move per WP:OTHEROPTIONS. "Hey Trucker" album (2013)

[edit]

Hi, I'm just going to copy and paste my reason for editing to explain why I removed this from the discography, in case anyone is wondering why it's missing and wants to add it again: Hey Trucker is not a real album. It is actually the 1999 album Red Dirt (with the Sadies), added with a thrown-together cover as a separate album to some streaming platforms for some reason; there is no other record of this album aside from these platforms and it being automatically added to some databases that scrape these platforms for info. There are no reviews or even a mention anywhere of the album Red Dirt being retitled or rereleased under this new title. It's just a glitch or a bizarre decision by Spotify or some other streaming platform - even though Red Dirt is already available (at least in Canada). Maybe a sneaky way to evade streaming rights issues if Red Dirt is unavailable in another country, but that doesn't make Hey Trucker a real album. 142.186.78.111 (talk) 16:37, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
