Church he is/was a member of

To my knowledge Andries van Aarde is a member of the Nederduits Hervormde Kerk en not the Nederduits Gereformeerde kerk. They both loosely translate to Dutch Reformed Church - with Nederduits actually meaning lower German. --91.57.175.216 (talk) 22:20, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The only South African Scholar?

It is simply untrue to claim that van Aarde is the only SA scholar interested in or with expertise in the historical Jesus. There are many such scholars---Klaus Nernberger to name one. I have removed the claim from the text. Chico889 (talk)
