Quotation marks.

[edit]

All those quotation marks! It feels like the authors didn't believe the material and set the "questionable stuff" apart. I removed the ones that were obviously not actual quotations of someone's opinion. Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 04:36, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Veronica Lake; ellipsis.

[edit]

Veronica Lake's "peek-a-boo" 'do was known by every film-goer at the time, not just the author Weaver. Also, she didn't wear bangs. This part was tweaked.

Where block quotes begin in a lower case letter, I added ellipsis. If there isn't more unquoted material before that, and the quotes should have started with capital letters, please correct it.

Great anecdote.

[edit]

I think that I remember seeing Ann Carter in an airing of Val Lewton: The Man in the Shadows on TCM where she talked about filming The Curse of the Cat People. She spoke of being fascinated by Simone Simon and thinking of her as a real angel/fairy/princess (something like that). That sparkly dress that Simon wore was decorated with glittery sequins or beading that would fall off during filming. Cater felt that it was her duty to collect all the fallen sparkles. It was a sweet anecdote that someone who owns the documentary should research and add to the article. Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 05:52, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
