I have the strong suspicion that creation of this bio of a woman and reproductive right advocate has been subject to derailment and politically motivated editing of Wikipedia, as quickly as it was flagged for deletion without fact checking and without searching for the WP:RS publications about Ann McGuiness. The ink wasnt dry on this article when an editor (self identified as from Indiana) started posting on my talk page. Even placing an "under construction" flag didnt help - the attempts to denounce and derail the article (e.g. attaching an orphan flag unjustifiedly) continued.-- Wuerzele (talk) 21:13, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your comment fails to follow the fundamental Wikipedia rule assuming good faith. As you should know from comments on the appropriate page discussing deletion, there was no NYT obituary listed at the time of your publishing and the review of this article. Instead, the article merely contained an obituary from the local funeral home and a notice in The Lancet, neither of which establishes notability under Wikipedia guidelines. If you have additional support for notability, you are welcome to provide it, but articles should be prepared meeting Wikipedia guidelines prior to publication. Articles should not be published in draft form.--IndyNotes (talk) 21:21, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
