Terrorist act

[edit]

To Alensohn: The Justice Department formally classified the incident as an act of terrorism. Whats wrong then with stating in the intro that it was a terrorist act? There does not even seem to be another POV sayin it was not a terrorist act. Is there a specific reason you don't want it to say that? Shlomke 23:34, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Shlomke 16:16, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Peleio Aquiles Why did you remove references to terrorism in this article? There was already a discussion on the question but you seem to have decided to do something different. Tennisist123 (talk) 12:47, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Opinion contrary to facts deleted

[edit]

Material unrelated to the incident, and in fact in contradiction to the Defendant's own explanation of his actions, has been deleted.Edstat 17:17, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bobover?

[edit]

I think the connection to Bobov is irrelevant. Both Ari Halberstam's family and the Bobover dynasty are descendants of Rabbi Chaim Halberstam of Sanz, but they have nothing else in common. More relevant, I think, is that Rabbi Meir Halberstam, the Tshakover Rebbe of Bnei Berak is (was? he is alive) Ari's grandfather, and Rabbi Naftali (Naftule) Halberstam, the Tshakover Rebbe of Jerusalem, and Rabbi Moshe Halberstam zt"l of the Edah HaChareidis are/were his great-uncles. Someone please fix the reference that says "^ a b 403 Forbidden ".66.10.94.35 (talk) 22:37, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to WP:OneEvent, I believe this article should be merged with the more general Brooklyn Bridge shooting article. Thoughts? Would this somehow not apply to murder victims? ShamWow (talk) 05:12, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

After three years with no discussion, I conclude that this does fall under WP:ONEEVENT and the two articles have been merged. WTF? (talk) 23:33, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bad tagging

[edit]

Why is this linked to the "Islamic terrorism" page? I don't see Islam or references to Islam in this story, and I don't think the page deserves that link. Is there an Arab terrorism page it can be filed under? BrotherSulayman (talk) 08:32, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
