Dates on lead

[edit]

I think that whatever policy preventing having his birth date and death date repeated in the lead is not useful. I mean, the first thing that the readers are going to see is the lead and not the inbox. Plus his terms are repeated, so that kind of hypocritical. --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 22:51, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Usage of the Sash

[edit]

The caption to the picture where Illia and Onganía appear on an open limo, says "Gen. Juan Carlos Onganía (right), then Head of the Military Joint Chiefs, wore the sash of state instead of Illia". That is incorrect. Onganía is wearing his formal uniform. All Argentine generals wear a sash with the Argentine flag's colors - but without the sun in the middle - when wearing their formal uniforms. The presidential sash is identical, plus the sun. Of course, when diverse generals, like Onganía, assumed the de facto presidency, they replaced the regular general-sash with the presidential one when wearing their formal uniform.

Example:

Here we see Onganía (left) as de facto president, wearing the presidential sash, and Lanusse (then Army commander, later de facto president as well), wearing his general sash. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saulo35 (talkcontribs) 14:32, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

B-Class?

[edit]

This article doesn't seem to reach the quality of a B-level article. In my opinion, the organization of the article isn't great, and the writing doesn't flow very smoothly. This is just my impression though—does anyone else have thoughts on the assessment of this article? Eliyili00 (talk) 22:34, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
