Historical Black press
[edit]If you can get access, there's a lot of great coverage of Boone's career in historically black newspapers like Los Angeles Sentinel and New York Amsterdam News. Hoping to have time to write a little from these later this week, but I can drop cites here at least. May be hard to get access to these archives w/out a large library nearby.
