Atlee KumarAtlee (director) – This is the name in which he is credited in all his films. TamilMirchi (talk) 03:19, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@TamilMirchi: Are you aware you're proposing that we move the Atlee Kumar article over a disambiguation page? Do we no longer care about any of those other subjects? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:35, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Inspiration" content

[edit]

@Balasus21: Hi there, though your edit here was well-meaning, we can't present opinions as though they were facts. You are stating definitively that his films are inspired by or plagiarised from other films, which is an interpretive statement. That sort of thing needs to be directly attributed to the voice that expressed it, and citing more than one voice will help us to ensure that we're not giving undue weight to one writer's opinion. The structure should probably be something like:

Some of Kumar's films have been noted for being heavily influenced by or plagiarised from other films. A writer for India Today compared three films to X, Y, Z earlier films. In 2019, filmmaker KP Selva sued Kumar for plagiarising the film Bigli, saying that ___. However, a Chennai civil court dismissed the suit, saying X, Y, Z.[1]

This general structure makes it clearer as to who is making the accusations, which is important, and also provides balance to the content, since we do strive for WP:NPOV. Hope that helps. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:05, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
