CSD nomination
[edit]External searches show that this politician is mostly self-promoting on WP:FACEBOOK, WP:LINKEDIN, and the like. We have no links to what he has actually done. This is at WP:PNT and I am happy to translate the rest from French to English if you decline the CSD, but I feel this is basically WP:PROMO and WP:SOAPBOX and things like that. We of course have articles for notable WP:POLITICIANs, but I don't feel he is one of them. Others may disagree, of course, in which case I shall happily translate the rest. - I found a fair amount of non-self-promoting coverage, even after disregarding articles on Madagate once I found out that he'd been in charge of it. But besides that, WP:POLITICIAN does generally deem to be notable "[p]oliticians and judges who have held international, national or sub-national (statewide/provincewide) office", and refers us to WP:POLOUTCOMES, a guide to common outcomes from deletion discussions regarding political figures, which says "Elected and appointed political figures at the national cabinet level are generally regarded as notable, as are usually those at the major sub-national level (US state, Canadian province, Japanese prefecture, etc.)". —Largo Plazo (talk) 14:29, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
