Fair use rationale for Image:Batmanserial1949.JPG

[edit]

Image:Batmanserial1949.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:56, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

removed subheading

[edit]

At the risk of conducting OR, I've removed this subheading and its material -- mainly because it is inaccurate. While the original source may have said "half" the chapter was devoted to Batman climbing a cliff and Robin chasing a truck on foot, Batman actually climbs the cliff using only 3 minutes of the 17 minute episode. Robin does not chase anything -- he runs to the parked truck and attempts, unsuccessfully, to escape the bad guys. Given the inaccuracy of the entry, the info re budget and critical acceptance is suspect.

plot

[edit]

According to Wikipedias own policies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:FILMPLOT a films plot (or in this case TV series) is RS for the events of the film. As such I have removed the tag as it (if the summery is accurate) to be about plot elements.Slatersteven (talk) 15:17, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel

[edit]

Is this serial really a sequel to the 1943 one? The last time I watched the impression I got was that each serial was its own continuity. Emperor001 (talk) 17:02, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese page

[edit]

This serial should have its own Japanese Wikipedia page. Stein256 (talk) 01:48, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blu-ray

[edit]

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment should release both this serial, and the 1943 Batman serial on Blu-ray. Stein256 (talk) 03:47, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
