Syrian and Egyptian Tank losses
[edit]After the 1973 war, the Israelis put together a project to rebuild captured T-62 tanks. Engines and Transmissions were swapped out and replaced with the M=60 running gear, smooth bore guns were replaced with 105mm guns, automatic loaders and air-conditioning were added. The entire production run was 2550 units. Some of the T-62's had less than 50 hours on the engines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by J. G. Golden (talk • contribs) 17:20, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
Israeli TOW anti-tank missiles
[edit]Israel got the first TOW anti-tank missiles in Operation Nickel Grass, that started on October 14th (which was the day of the battle of Sinai). Even then, untill the end of the war the israeli army fired (on the very last days of the war) several dozens of missiles and non of them was on target (since the crews did not know how to use it right). only after the war when there were exchanges of fire between the two armies the tow crew started to use it effectively.Tushyk (talk) 16:39, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Egyptian losses
[edit]The estimates on dead egyptian soldiers are not neutral, by going from the israeli perspective on the Egyptain side You should do the EXACT same on the israeli side otherwise this is not a neutral article and should belong on a pro-israeli side Strijdersvdb (talk) 10:34, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
