Death date

[edit]

Is there a way to confirm his death date? The lead and infobox say December 19 but the prose says December 10. --Midnightdreary (talk) 14:47, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to my sources Bayard Taylor died on 19 December 1878 in Berlin. --Aletheia (talk) 17:34, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I wonder if you'd be able to put your source as an in-line reference / footnote after the sentence on his death. That might prevent further dispute or questions. --Midnightdreary (talk) 14:47, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Misnamed sections

[edit]

The sections "First/Second return to the U.S." are incorrectly named. From the earlier bits of the article, he was obviously back from Europe in the late 1840's, making those sections at least the second and third returns. --J Clear (talk) 15:56, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The subsection names are pretty lame anyway and I think we can do better. Any suggestions? --Midnightdreary (talk) 16:07, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
