It was the second single

[edit]

Okay guys, I know it's been discussed before. BUT this song was released to iTunes & Amazon worldwide and had a music video, single art etc. It charted in the UK as well. If Rihanna's "Wait Your Turn" is classified as a single then surely this song would be too. It even says on her official website http://www.ladygaga.com/discography/default.aspx?pid=1572 that it was as well. Can we rethink this article or Wait Your Turn isn't a sinke either, you have to have consistency not just one rule for different artists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Morgan3136 (talkcontribs) 07:20, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Promo single

[edit]

The articles for Alejandro (Lady Gaga song) and Dance In The Dark were deleted, even though they were promo singles. So this article should be deleted too... Not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Quaveren (talkcontribs) 19:44, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because this article has its notability established. The articles for AJ and DITD donot have any notability and all the info for them can be found at the parent album page. --Legolas (talk2me) 04:22, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So I put the covers of the singles in the part of singles in The Fame Monster --Quaveren (talk) 22:07, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting that "Alejandro"'s original article was deleted, considering its current article is not only up, but strongly considered notable and of GA status. Granted, the circumstances were much more likely to change for Alejandro in 2009 than for this song in 2011 (Alejandro went on to receive full single status, a full music video, and charted heavily, not to mention can still be heard in a lot of places on occasion), but it goes to show that occasionally deletion is more trouble than it's worth, when time could be better spent patiently establishing notability and improving the article's content. Never assume notability, of course, but never assume a lack until you can prove a lack, either! 68.202.85.105 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:05, 10 October 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Orphaned references in Beautiful, Dirty, Rich

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Beautiful, Dirty, Rich's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "uk":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:25, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Single

[edit]

Her official site state that this was a single, not a promo. So why have we listed it as a promo single? It was released on iTunes and Amazon on 9/16/2008. It had a music video. How is it not a single? I'm confused. Is it because it didn't chart high or something? Because that wouldn't count.--58.161.71.92 (talk) 01:13, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
