Nationality

[edit]

One Editor has changed Ben Healy's opening from Irish to Scottish and listed this change as "nationality". This is a fundamental misunderstanding of how nationality works. Ben Healy was born and raised in Ireland, came up through the Irish rugby system and carries only an Irish passport (until he confirms otherwise). Choosing to represent his mothers team does not change this fact. So the foot must be put down on this before a similar edit war happens like the Duhan van der Merwe article where people kept changing his nationality from South African to "Scottish".
