Picture of Australia II
[edit]Article would benefit greatly from some pictures. As the work of a Naval Architect results in a three dimensional object some Line Drawing's of Ben's yachts would seem appropriate. I think the article could be expanded. A good source would be Bruce Stannard's biography "Ben Lexcen The Man, The Keel and the Cup". I cant really see a copyright issue as very sadly Ben is no longer with us and practically every yachting magazine and publication in the last 20 years has replicated his designs. The article just does not seem complete without a picture and line drawing of AUSTRALIA II his greatest achievment. Can anyone please help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.34.59 (talk) 01:08, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
- The best I could find was a picture of Australia II's winged keel over at wikimedia commons, which can be found here: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Australia_II_winged_keel.JPG I would prefer a line drawing, as you say, but I could add the photo if you thought it would improve the article.Gunbirddriver (talk) 05:02, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
