Cantillation[edit]

The article uses the word "cantillation"—directly from the Johnson source—in a meaning that is not in current or 20th-century dictionaries nor in the Wikipedia article on cantillation. The standard meaning is, of course, the ritual chanting of Hebrew readings in services.

I would be cautious about using the non-standard meaning in the article; this is a case wherein I think paraphrasing with more standard terms is in order to aid in clarity. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:33, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
