Symphonic or not

[edit]

The band is definetely symphonic in my opinion, there's tons of orchestration on most of the songs, this is not just deathcore or metalcore, the keys are in my opinion really important to help define the what btm sounds like. It's not whitechapell, it's closer to bands like septic flesh, flesghgod apocalypse... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.158.210.192 (talk) 09:05, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Again... Symphonic is closer to Epica than anything else. Tell you what. What we had to do for the skillet artical is make a seperate section for style. How about you leave Deathcore/metalcore in the infobox (since that is the most excepted genre) and make a style section talking about that they use symphonic elements in their music DCcomicslover (talk) 20:25, 22 March 2012 (UTC)DCcomicslover[reply]

Editing, and sourcing

[edit]

Since sourcing and editing has been really improved can we get the sourcing tag and others out ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.57.175.45 (talk) 15:20, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copy editing

[edit]

I translated this article from my German article. So why copy editing? --Goroth (talk) 17:16, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Goroth, a translation doesn't immunize an article from requiring copy editing - there is definitely some content that needs editing and I am about to get onto it. See what you think. --Soulparadox 18:47, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

Don't think this is article-worthy yet

[edit]

I hate to be "that guy", but there's still alot of info in this article that's unsourced (the Musical Style section doesn't cite any at all) and, more importantly, I can't find any evidence that they meet WP:BAND. They haven't charted (that I know of, at least not on Billboard), they've only released one full-length album, and the sources in this article don't look the least bit WP:RS. I'm not saying delete it, but someone might want to move it to their user space until the band has a second album on Sumerian or does something else notable.--Invisiboy42293 (talk) 22:35, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

About the discography and references

[edit]

This article is horrible that needs a good improvement, references are horrible, I as a fan of the band I feel disgust to see an article that disorganized, I created the articles of the EPs and albums since the discography section of the well was ugly, the article also does not enjoy a good English and I ask for some other fan trying to make an effort to improve and get more information, or I'll make an effort to make this a good article. Christian?

[edit]

Before anyone gets on me, I am Christian. I don't worship but I do believe in God, Satan, heaven, hell, judgment day, etc. Also, I am a fan of Betraying The Martyrs. Huge fan honestly. I own their album, shirt, poster, bracelet, and have seen them live twice. All that being said, I really don't consider this a Christian metal band. Or a Christian band in general. I have talked to certain members personally and really, Aaron Matts, the vocalist, is kind of profane. Also, some of their songs have profanity in it (ex: "Life Is Precious"). While there are members of this band that are Christian, I believe that label should be removed. Maybe a section stating that certain members are Christian would be acceptable?
XyphynX9 (talk) 17:13, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Christians come in all shapes and sizes (just like anyone else). Christian metal is a very peculiar interest in the metal community. Also, they are French, American "cursing" is sort of an odd concept to us. Fuck is no more a curse word than "Rot" or "Cow." 98.198.85.83 (talk) 06:33, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

NOT melodic death metal.

[edit]

I'm removing it. I don't care if it's sourced. The source is not a reliable review site, nor are the words "melodic death metal" ANYWHERE in the article. They have symphonic metal elements, yes, but that doesn't make them melodic death metal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.225.66.223 (talk) 22:58, 11 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
