The nearby Jain temple has two inscriptions. One read by Trivedi (p.60) on the Shantinath image, does not have a date, but mentions Bhojadeva. The other one read by Dr. Kasturchand Jain Suman, on the smaller Suparshvanath image is date V. 1175, mentions Narvarman (1094-1130, Bhojadeva'e nephew)). The second inscription implies that the two (smaller but still massive) images were installed by the grandson of the Nemichandra, mentioned in the first inscription. Nemichandra belonged to the Vemaka community that is now extinct. Malaiya (talk) 23:45, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
