The article should[edit]

The Bonan people speak the Bonan language. In their own language, they call themselves [bɵ:ŋɑn] (in IPA transcription). -Andrew

How can the ancestors of the Bonan be both Muslim soldiers and Lamaists? There should be a clarification. — Stevey7788 (talk) 21:47, 11 September 2010 (UTC)


The picture descriptions in commons say nothing about them being bonans, and theres two other muslim ethnic groups in Jishishan. J.K Nakkila (talk) 15:38, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
