Great set of sources, I'm looking to the filling in of the prose. -Reagle (talk) 17:26, 25 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review

Looks great Kayla! I think it will really come together if you are able to find some photos. I also wonder what a good way might be to categorize your page with other gay choruses which would give it more context. Casey.ha (talk) 03:14, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Casey.ha: Thanks Hannah! I had some luck contacting the group through Facebook, so hopefully there will be a photo soon! Also, maybe I can add a sentence or two to my first section that explains more about the missions of gay choruses in general to add some context. Great choice of topic! I think it it notable and you wrote it in very neutral language. I think the Notable Performances section in particular was very interesting. The only sentence I was unsure about is under Middle East, summer 2016 if describing the composition as "powerful" is biased, or part of how the article described it. I also am curious if there are any notable members in particular who went off to have solo careers? Moreno.ci (talk) 16:33, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Moreno.ci: Thank you! I am going to look back at that section about the Middle East to make sure I am using neutral language. The idea of finding singers from the chorus with solo careers is really cool, although I haven't found any examples of this yet it is something I can be looking out for. Rewriting and Updating This Page

[edit]

Hello, everyone,

Greetings from Boston, Massachusetts! My name is Christian Krenek, and I have been editing Wikipedia since 2004. In November of 2021, I was hired to be the inaugural Communications Manager for Boston Gay Men's Chorus. One of my assigned responsibilities is the expansion of this Wikipedia page to provide more information about BGMC's history, performances, and structure. I am working based on the "I work in PR, and would like to fix up the article about the person or company I represent. Is that okay?" guidelines from the FAQ/Article Subject page. I am using secondary sources whenever possible, but may have to rely on Chorus-produced programs for certain information. Do older programs or videos from the Chorus's own YouTube channel count as "promoting or advertising clients?"

I also know that I will have to disclose my identity as a paid employee of BGMC per the Paid-Contribution Disclosure Terms of Use. I will do so once I know that I am approved to create these edits in the first place.

Thank you so much for your time!
