big blank
[edit]I think that something should be done about the big blank on this article. User:Leon Trotsky 6:24 22 October 2005
'An unspecified time'... wasn't it 2000 years or something? I'm sure there's a certain amount of time but I can't remember what it was.
"Nina, who is unable to survive underground, due to an experimental surgery performed on her in order to convert her into an air purification machine"
- Wait, is this accurate? I thought Nina was created/grown artificially for the sole purpose of being an air purification device, not just transformed into one by surgery. –Tifego(t) 00:46, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
- Seems to be a combination of the two. When playing the game a second time (I think), the player is shown a cutscene of Lin finding "Nina bodies" grown in tanks. However, the doctor also seems to have performed some surgery on Nina, perhaps to finish the process (and remove her ability to speak). 130.232.131.47 15:26, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- If you get a d-ratio of 1/16 (or 1/8, can't remember) and play through the game again, you find out that Nina was originally a human with an extremely low d-ratio, and the bodies Lin find are attempts at cloning Nina so no more humans are needed. 87.127.31.227 23:43, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Plot Summary Confusing
[edit]Looking at the BoF IV article and its plot summary, the game is made far more clear than the garbled mixup that is this article's plot summary. It needs fixing. 75.157.78.82 (talk) 04:09, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
European Version Changes
[edit]Just made that edit but can't seem to find a good source to use. There are many reports of this fact around but none that really seem suitable as cited sources. --85.224.81.25 (talk) 09:26, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Ryu
[edit]the information on this page about Ryu being a Mute Hero in other games is Technically wrong as in BOF4 he does have a part of the game were he has spoken dialogue and he also apears to be speaking at other points in the same game. Martingolding96 (talk) 15:55, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Ryu absent
[edit]When I start a new game and it promote me to name, does not default to Ryu, it is empty.
I did notice the name used in the opening cinematic though. ScratchMarshall (talk) 00:50, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
