Challenge

[edit]

I would like to call bullshit on two sentences in this article, which is pretty sub-par overall.

"Later, as the Amiga was also becoming obsolete and lost ground to the PC computers and games consoles, sales decreased rapidly, and C-lehti was discontinued in 1991."

I was a subscriber and I can add to this that the magazine's end became suddenly, with no warning, and I also presume the reason was something different than what is claimed above. At that year the Amiga was still being developed and by no means "becoming obsolete" - also, which sales are you referring to, those of Amiga computers or sales of the magazine?

"A character in C-lehti was the Guru, drawn by Harri "Wallu" Vaalio and obviously inspired by the famous Guru Meditation messages in AmigaOS."

Somebody just made that up. Isn't that the character from Wallu's pre-existing cartoon in another magazine? Rather, the term 'guru' itself is the basis for both the character name and guru meditations, instead of the character being based on the latter of those. --213.130.255.33 (talk) 19:01, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Noted and appreciated. I have edited the article to reflect this. Sorry it took over a year for me to notice this. JIP | Talk 18:20, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
