This article is a mess

Why are the subspecies merged into this article with their taxoboxes? Yet, not all subspecies have been merged, and one subspecies has been merged and has its own article? And not all were merged with taxoboxes, some have taxoboxes in this article and others don't. This is very hard to read and figure out, a list of species in the genus, but one species has a link to its own article, then you start reading and looking at the taxoboxes, but it seems you weren't looking at the correct taxobox, because not all have the boxes. Then, it seems that one species in the species section doesn't have a link to its own article above, but has its section below, and a link within that section to its own article.
