Handel
[edit]- Water Music
The Water Music may have been played first by the Cannons orchestra.
- Library
I have added info about librettists who collaborated with Handel at Cannons. The library is still a lacuna.

Pope year
[edit]Could hardly have been satirized by Pope in 1831 or whenever it said because he had been dead for almost a century before that. Date has been removed. (138.16.57.183 (talk) 23:03, 6 April 2008 (UTC))
- It was a typo - should have been 1731, been corrected now. nancy (talk) 09:32, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

The amount of detail regarding Handel was starting to overwhelm and the balance of the article was suffering. I have therefore split out the detailed section in to its own article - Handel at Cannons with appropriate attribution. Nancy talk 12:20, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
