Isn't Carole a Jew as a Goldsmith? I read that in a veritable source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 21:43, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

What source? Goldsmith isn't necessarily a Jewish surname; in fact, it is more commonly an English Christian surname. In this case, Carole's family has long been Church of England. See, e.g.,, which concluded that the genealogical evidence is that all of Carole's known ancestors were baptized as Christian. Biblioteqa (talk) 05:49, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
