Removal by Friendly Eagle

[edit]

Hi there Friendly Eagle! I'm a little bit confused as to why you removed my content? The reason given for the removal is, "Reverting covering up caste system and unconnected content and unsourced content by Arthuranddw." - however, my content was clearly sourced. Furthermore, it seems that you went in and removed a couple of my sources. Just hoping to get a little more clarity on the situation. Thanks! Arthuranddw (talk) 14:56, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Revisions

[edit]

I am a student at Rice University who is interested in writing about casteism in the United States since it is something I have learned about in recent years, especially among groups people typically do not associate casteism with, such as Christians in the Indian diaspora. The article is currently rated Start-Class in the India WikiProject. Additional sections such as “Discrimination in religious areas” could be added, and existing sections such as “Discrimination in the workplace” and “Discrimination in education” could be developed significantly. Also, nuances regarding second-generation immigrants and their experiences with casteism are not discussed in the article currently. Please take a look at my user page for references I will potentially be sourcing information from. Amykuriakose (talk) 02:53, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Amy, welcome to the page. You are free to add whatever content you think fits the topic, as long as it is verifiable and WP:NPOV. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 22:00, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
