Merge
[edit]I propose to merge the limited content on the original (2007-2012) proposal to the "Developments" section of the Ceannt Station article. And to redirect this title to that section. I propose this because the titular subject of this article does not exist, may never exist, will invariably remain short (and can only be expanded with content on other/loosely-related topics), requires context and background from the other article, and generally because all WP:MERGEREASONs are met. - An AfD could have been an option too, but I do not object against a merge. The Banner talk 11:24, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
- In all honesty I was tempted to PROD or AfD this. But, having re-looked at the Galway railway station#Developments section (which seems to cover both the original (2007) CIÉ proposal and the later (2020) Edward Holdings proposal just as this article does), it seems reasonable to just merge the two. To address the duplication/overlap/etc. And, while a redirect may not really be called for, its probably uncontroversial to retain one... Guliolopez (talk) 11:29, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
- True, and you never know if this dream becomes a reality in the future. The Banner talk 13:06, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
- Resolved. As it's been a few weeks, and the only input was in support of a merge/redirect, I've gone ahead and merged the related content to the target article/section. And redirected this title to that section. Guliolopez (talk) 15:39, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
