Hydro Power

[edit]

As per the current situation, we cannot say Hydro is the primary source of generation. please revise the article accordingly .

Thermal energy

[edit]

The text has a link to thermal energy as one of the main sources of power generation. But that is just a redirect links to internal energy, which is a physics concept without any direct connection to power generation. Is the use of the term "thermal energy" meant to imply that that portion of energy comes from combustion processes? In that case would a link to fossil fuels be more appropriate? (I had thought geothermal was meant, but that was reverted - sorry!) David Hollman (Talk) 07:02, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi David. Yes, I understand your point. I have redirected it to the Thermal power station. Thanks for bringing this up. Kind regards. Rehman(+) 08:23, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Ceylon Electricity Board

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Ceylon Electricity Board's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "StatsCEB":

  • From Kelanitissa Power Station: "CEB Statistics". Retrieved 2012-10-11.
  • From Lakvijaya Power Station: CEB Statistics, retrieved 2012-10-07

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 01:03, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
