What's This?

This is one of the strangest articles I've ever read in Wikipedia. It says C&J applied for U.S. citizenship but didn't want to fight in Vietnam. And extending work permits was problematical? One must remain in the country while applying for a green card then live and work here for five years before applying for citizenship. I'm not sure you could extend a work permit if you left the country. In that case you couldn't return for three years as a potential LPR (Legal Permanent Resident). You'd have to return to the U.S. on a tourist visa. Dangnad (talk) 23:15, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
