Merge; The 'chin curtain' and 'chin strap' appear to be identical, with even the same example. Perhaps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chin_Curtain and the 'chinstrap' article should be merged? 58.110.147.147 (talk) 17:48, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm... the chin curtain page specifically says it's not the same thing as a chinstrap beard, but it's true that they do both lay claim to Abraham Lincoln. I honestly don't know if they're sufficiently different or not. Without more information, though, I support keeping them separate simply because it's the status quo. You might see if you can get more opinions than mine, though. Gavia immer (talk) 20:24, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the late-20th and early-21st centuries it came en vogue among the douchiest of douchebags.

Obvious spam. Can someone change this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gypsywitch13 (talkcontribs) 07:08, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Extra Picture[edit]

There's a good picture of Paul Kruger on his page featuring him with a chinstrap beard if anyone thinks it would add to this article to have another picture. Invmog (talk) 02:39, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
