Untitled[edit]

It is my understanding (as a resident of Clontarf) that The Crescent, mentioned with regards Bram Stoker, is infact in Clontarf, not Fairview. I don't want to edit it however as I am not entirely certain. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.16.72.140 (talk) 23:08, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Brigades in Organisations[edit]

From 1 Boys Brigade to 2 x Boys and 1 x Girls Brigade - but to which one does the now slightly lost "100 years old" tag belong? Skir77 10:51, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Vikings[edit]

Were the Vikings who fought Brian Boru invaders as the article states or Norsemen based in Dublin? I have always believed the latter to have been the case.jeanne (talk) 06:58, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Religion[edit]

An anonymous editor added this text on 1 November 2015: ″There are three Catholic churches St annes church located in the park it used to be a stable and then they changed it in1945 it is covered in beautiful ivy and is only open in November and December.......″ It is correct in that there are three Catholic churches in Clontarf: St. John's, St. Anthony's, and St Gabriel's. St. Gabriel's is the parish church of Dollymont, which is a locality within Clontarf. The rest of the text seems to be confused about St. Anne's Park, and in any case is excessively detailed for this article. I am correcting the earlier reference from two churches to three and removing the text added by user 79.97.210.85 98.248.37.30 (talk) 02:45, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
