Wikification[edit]

This article needs to be wikified, and the massive "works" references need to be in list format, not the unfathomable paragraph format they're currently in. In fact, the "works" references probably should be reduced in some way; they occupy a disproportionate amount of the article, approximately overshadowing the biographical information by twenty-to-one. This is absurd. 12.22.250.4 18:35, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Separate Pages[edit]

My thanks to Trident13 for separating out my very long list of Clough's works. In response to the anonymous contributor who complains that the works of an architect (which are the reason for his notability) make a longer item than the brief biographical information about those aspects of his life not concerned with his public career, isn't this inevitable? I agree it's a long list and it has now been converted from the paragraph format but to exclude as comprehensive an account as possible of the work of a person whose place in Wikipedia depends on his output seems a little odd. Fully agreed! As an encyclopaedia, it's good for an architect if we have a full list of works - much as for a musical singer, a complete discography is a good piece of fact. The List of Works still needs a lot of work to make it "easier" reading, but there are also lot's of items of fact which need to be included in the main biographical article.
