[edit]I notice the Colm is said to have played the part of Rudolf Höss (Höß) in the movie Nuremberg. IMHO that should Rudolf Hess (Heß). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Anygard (talk • contribs)
- Not according to IMDB. Feore played Rudolf Höß and Roc LaFortune played Rudolf Heß . PKT (talk) 13:45, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Please, this article is hardly something that would appear in an encyclopedia. Make the relevant changes so that it is clear, topical, relevant, and unbiased. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.68.225.116 (talk • contribs)

Citizenship: American?
[edit]Per the article, he was born in the United States, but the article does not state that he renounced his citizenship. Hence, he should also be American in additon to Canadian and Irish. Indeed, I don't see a source for him being legally Irish, either. If Irish is listed because it's implied by his parentage, so, too, should American be listed, barring evidence thar he is no longer American. 68.60.202.174 (talk) 00:05, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
It seems offensive to totally ignore his Irish heritage, which is more far established than the serendipitous accident of his birth and brief sojourn in America before his Irish parents returned to Ireland when Feore was still an infant. A substantial portion of his childhood was spent in Ireland before his family emigrated to live in Canada permanently. Bearing this in mind, it would be more accurate - and courteous - to include his 100% Irish genetic heritage when choosing how to label his identity. 'American born but Irish and Canadian bred, and holding dual citizenship to both countries' is probably the best description of Feore's origins. Why have you taken it upon yourself to insist on a factually incomplete tag being used rather than have this page updated accurately? Why are you so adamant about this? Wiki biogs are meant to be neutral and as accurate as possible. They are here to inform, not serve an unknown individual's agenda. I don't understand it but am interested to hear your reasons as always ready to learn if there's a valid explanation. Mag Wildwood (talk) 00:23, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- I'm not saying to exclude his Irish heritage. I'm only wondering why it says "Canada, Ireland" under his citizenship, when as far as I can tell he should hold American citizenship, too. I'm not sure how that one post above comes across as insistent or adamant about anything. I asked for more information regarding his citizenship (and a correction if incorrect) because it seemed odd. If he has American citizenship then it should be included under "Citizenship." If he doesn't, then it shouldn't. Likewise with Irish citizenship. That has nothing to do with identity or heritage. I'm not knowledgeable enough on Irish citizenship to know whether his parentage or years spent there would have granted him Irish citizenship, but being born in the US makes him an American citizen for life unless he specifically relinquishes it. Based on all I can see, I would swap out American-Canadian in the article for Irish-Canadian, and swap Ireland under Citizenship with United States, or include both if his Irish citizenship is also implied. 68.60.202.174 (talk) 23:23, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
