So is it actually leather? —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 20:04, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it just isn't leather that has any particular origin or processing. It's basically whatever you want it to be.
And in whatever form you enjoy it, treasure his memory always. Wellspring (talk) 15:27, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
It seems to me that the point about "just leather without any particular origin or processing" belongs in the main article, although the note about "corinthian" as an adjective to mean "of the highest quality" probably ought to be mentioned, too, no? Oliepedia (talk) 23:20, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

? Corinithian Leather[edit]

It might be worth noting that while most people remember the phrase as Rich Corinthian Leather, Montalban never said this. He used Soft Corinthian Leather, and in a few separate ads Rich Leather. Hogwaump (talk) 17:54, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

  • Yes, he did. He did several commercials from 75-83 or so. He said both "soft" and "rich" in different ones. Go to YouTube and watch them all. EDIT: Here is one with "rich." Sir Rhosis (talk) 23:10, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
  • I've changed to "rich" and linked to an actual commercial, but he did use other adjectives. Should we note them all? Sir Rhosis (talk) 18:52, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
