Are there two ways to spell the name?
[edit]In the article, she is called both Costanza(without n between o and s) and Constanza (with n). There is a red link to Constanza d'Avaros (with n) in Vittoria Colonna. Unhappily, I find neither name in itwp.
If both name forms appear in the literature, this should be mentioned at the start of the article, and there should be a redirect from one form to the other; however, one form should be chosen as the article name, and be used consistently through the article. JoergenB (talk) 18:16, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
- The incorrect Constanza (with n) appeared in the first version, which I have just corrected. This was a typo - sorry about that. I checked the Italian-language sources and there the name is also spelt without an n. I'm fixing this in both articles. The reason I created the article in the first place was because I noticed there were two women called Costanza d'Avalos, who lived around the same time, and there was confusion between the two, and also with Vittoria Colonna. One was Costanza d'Avalos, Duchess of Francavilla, died 1541, and the other was Costanza d'Avalos Piccolomini, died 1560. Hohenloh + 01:08, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
