Why no mention of the dubious reasons for Cream closing down in the first place?
The article is lacking why Cream closed. I found an article in a Google book search on brand failure that suggested they were paying too much for DJs past their prime, expansion diluted sales, and that they were moving in the wrong direction - even though there was a strong market for dance music. Probably no different in many ways as with Tower Records demise. JHolicky (talk) 04:08, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
Nightclub or club night?
It looks to me (never having been to Cream) that it really isn't a nightclub but a club night being hosted at the Nation and other venues. This would place Cream in the same category as Sven Väth's "Cocoon Club", "Manumission", or "Circo Loco" (at DC10, Ibiza). Am I right in this? __meco 12:48, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
I disagree - although it is an iconic international brand, surely the heart of Cream will always be in Nation? The strength of the brand was built on being the best club night in the world, and that to me (having been a Cream regular) is venue-specific.220.127.116.11 (talk) 07:02, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Creamnightclub.jpg
Image:Creamnightclub.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
