The page states at the bottom that the game uses the 'Wolfenstein 3D engine' .. I think this is highly unlikely.. I don't want to change it as I cant verify it one way or the other, but perhaps someone could look into this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.234.235.56 (talk) 10:13, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A minor point but what does the game have episodes or volumes? I changed it to volumes as appears on the game screenshot on http://www.3drealms.com/caves, however website content also says episodes. Current Wikipedia page is inconsistent, so volumes or episodes? (IMHO episodes sounds better)

I tried to research properly, but the 3DR site was blocked where I was when I changed it. Google's cache didn't show the screenshots as I hoped. I'd say what the title screen says is the most correct word, unless it is called "episode" elsewhere throughout the game, but that's me. I don't have the game here right now. Anyway, I wouldn't have changed it if I'd seen the shot then. Retodon8 21:59, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.3drealms.com/news/2005/10/updates_for_some_older_titles.html could be used as a citation for the "may now hold the record for..." bit. However since I don't know how to add citations I'll leave this for someone else to integrate... 91.4.159.44 (talk) 14:03, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What language were games like this and Commander Keen coded in? Credulity (talk) 19:48, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Steam release[edit]

The Crystal Caves trilogy was recently released on Steam as part of a massive 3D Realms bundle, in case someone wishes to add that info. I'm afraid I'm not up to the task. 190.21.57.108 (talk) 01:17, 27 May 2015 (UTC)Kojiro_S[reply]
