My name is Donald William Washbrook Jr. My dad was really into baseball and basket ball and all his life, he spent quite a bit of time developing his statistic monitoring programs for sports on computers. He mentioned Cyril a few times but i thought it was just a myth, now 2007 i see this, how cool is that! WASHBROOK, I have always known there is magic within the name.......Its why that intreegs me. If anyone can tell me more about the history of the name Washbrook please e-mail me at donny@airphysicsinc.com

Sir Cyril Washbrook certainly isn't a myth. My grandmother played with him when they were both children. I'm also trying to find info about Washbrooks as my grandmother was his cousin, Mary Washbrook. If anyone has information connected to his family I'd love to hear from you. Please email calelirory@live.com thankyou.

I've a distinct feeling this article wasn't written by anyone who saw him play. If it had been, his fielding skills, particularly at cover point, would have rated a mention. And the speed of his scoring in county cricket94.192.68.44 (talk) 00:02, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
