Expansion of stub article
[edit]Couple points of mention:
- Regarding the opening paragraph: I changed the opening sentence with regards to his given name and his stage name to better reflect formats of similar articles such as DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Krush, especially considering that Morin has performed both under his own name on commercial music projects. He is however better known for his DJing and therefore I think it's fitting to keep the article title the way it is. I do however think it needed to be noted that he is sometimes referred to as simply "Champion" (this is how his name appears on his albums, for example). I also removed the statement that his performance name was "pronounced as in French". I reviewed many English articles from his official press kit and could only find one article from the Montreal Gazette stating that his performance name is pronounced (à la Francaise). I've also heard many Anglophone TV and radio hosts refer to him using both the English and French pronunciation.
- Regarding his date of birth: I couldn't find his date of birth, but I did find an article published in Dec of 2005 which mentioned that he was 36yrs old, hence the "c. 1969". If anyone can find a reliable source for his actual date or year of birth, please feel free to update that.
- Regarding "No Heaven" being featured in the Borderlands and Army of Two video games: I left these references in the article with less-than-reliable sources (i.e. blogs and forums). If anyone can find reference to the track in these video games from a reliable video game publication of some sort, it would be appreciated if you could replace those refs.
