{{Edit semi-protected}} He is also the ninth head of government of a CARICOM country to die in office since 1967. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.59.168.125 (talk)

Not done: We usually try to avoid trivia sections in articles. Thanks, Stickee (talk) 12:59, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
But the article now says he is the ninth 'head of state' of a CARICOM country to die in office, which is simply not true. --89.216.218.113 (talk) 18:15, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's difficult to verify unless sourced. The Commonwealth of Dominica had a few leaders in a row die in office if I remember correctly. CARICOM was founded in 1973... I can't remember if Compton was in office when he died. IMHO as I say that is going to be difficult to verify so I echo those calls that maybe it be removed. Unless its contributor put a source for that. CaribDigita (talk)
Well folks according to the Trini Express and de Guyana Chronicle it all wrong. De Trini Express wrote:"THE DEATH yesterday of Prime Minister David Thompson marked the third Barbados leader to die in office in 25 years and the seventh Caricom Head of Government to suffer a similar fate since 1967." both papers also wrote:"The first Caribbean Prime Minister to die in office was Jamaica's Donald Sangster in 1967, and between then and the passing of Thompson, the others who died in office were:
Trinidad and Tobago's Eric Williams in 1981; Barbados' Adams (1985); Guyana's Forbes Burnham (1985); Barbados' Barrow (1987); Dominica's Rosie Douglas (2000) and Pierre Charles (2004); and St. Lucia's John Compton (2007).
Thompson had led the DLP to a landslide parliamentary victory in January 2008 that ended the three-term rule of the Barbados Labour Party, with Owen Arthur as then Prime Minister."
So if my counting and the Trini Express is right, Davie was the 7th done in office. Right? Joerg, the BajanZindy (talk) 20:27, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Who is the preacher that was talking about Numbers?

[edit]

There was a preacher that was talking about numbers. He goes by the nickname "Tan the Man". According to what I heard people saying, Thompson served as MP for 23 years, he died on the 23rd October. And- he died at 2:10 in the year 2010. According to that pastor 10 and 23 was a reoccurring number with Thompson. CaribDigita (talk) 15:59, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
