Looking at article[edit]

This article really needs more references from good sources. There should be a picture also.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 21:47, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Added references; added infobox; still needs a picture; got good references from Rolling Stone, NY times. Put in critical commentary. Still need references where the "citation needed" tags are. How come DW doesn't have a picture? If anybody knows DW's agent, please have them upload a public domain picture to Wikimedia Commons, properly labeled.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 00:54, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The paranormal prophesy D. Wilcox?[edit]

Is this the guy into scattered prophesies and interconnections? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR-klTa1y54 Here's another D. Wilcox. Same guy?: http://davidwilcox.com/index.php?page=reviews&category=02--CURRENT_PRESS&display=2739 We need a picture of the person to tell whether its the person in this video. The guy in the video looks like he could have been born in 1958.Dogru144 (talk) 17:00, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is not the same person, that person's name is David Wilcock, and his appearance shows he is clearly someone else.
There is something fundamentally wrong with someone who would ask whether singer/songwriter David Wilcox is the same person as new age crackpot David Wilcock. -- 184.189.217.200 (talk) 19:35, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

would like to see disambiguation info[edit]

I'd like to see the line about disambiguation on this page and on other pages that tell about any Dave or David Wilcox. Those that know this individual from music are bound to occasionally look for him under the name "Dave Wilcox", and there we find an NFL football player but no "disambiguation" instructions. Is that not done for commonly shortened first names -- David/Dave, Johnathon/John, Richard/Dick, etc. ? I suppose we wouldn't expect a page under "Dick Nixon"... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ralphcook (talkcontribs) 04:44, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Does anybody looking for this David Wilcox (American musician) search for him by typing "Dave Wilcox"? Possibly; but my guess is this would not happen often; if they did type 'Dave Wilcox' then they'd go to the Dave Wilcox page. If they type "David Wilcox" without specifying which one, they will go to this disambiguation page. Only thing I can think of is a hatnote on the Dave Wilcox page, which points to the David Wilcox disambiguation page, as a navigation aid.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 14:00, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I added hatnote navigation links from the Dave Wilcox to the David Wilcox disambiguation page, and on the David Wilcox (Canadian musician) page to the David Wilcox (American musician) page. Hopefully that will improve navigation.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 14:09, 7 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
