Plexiglass

[edit]

The article currently uses plexiglass and lucite separately, but both redirect to Poly(methyl methacrylate). It looks like plexiglass and lucite are just different market names of it, so the article should choose either plexiglass or lucite, but not both. Brandmeistertalk 16:53, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that but the source distinguishes them and uses those terms, saying that he moved from one to the other because they have different qualities. I think we should stick with the wording used by the source until additional sources emerge that clarify the matter. It may also be that there are different varieties of Poly(methyl methacrylate) which also had different trade names and that it is that article that is insufficiently detailed.
