Information on Dick wood is sparse. I assume he didn't make the cut for the Colts in 1959 (they had Johnny Unitas with punter Ray Brown as backup.) Anyone have any info on his years between 1959-1962?

I also have an image of him from a Topps card. Would it be fair use to include it (or a crop of it) in this article? Arx Fortis 22:48, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NFL player template

[edit]

I used the NFL player template, even though this player never played in the NFL. He was an AFL player, but I couldn't find an AFL template. Any pointers on how I can remedy this? Thanks, Arx Fortis 02:13, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is AFL American Football, or Australian Football? If it's the latter, I may be able to help. If it's the former, then that's a no-can-do as far as my helping you is concerned. --JD[don't talk|email] 02:28, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, my bad; I didn't realise this was an article's talk page. Sorry, I can't help then, as I wouldn't know where the American Football League template is. --JD[don't talk|email] 02:31, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! You can use the NFL template for AFL players, just by changing some of the parameters. For an example of how to do this, you can see other AFL players such as Billy Cannon. Thanks! EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 02:32, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Woo-hoo! Thanks EWS23! Arx Fortis 02:58, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, no problem. :o) Feel free to ask us if you have any further questions, though usually looking to see how similar articles have done things is a good place to start. EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 03:05, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Dick Wood.jpg

[edit]

Image:Dick Wood.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
