This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it represents a new category which was not entered under "Diplomacy." Apart from the board game (already added to Wikipedia) Diplomacy was also made into a computer game, which was ported to various computer systems. This entry is so far the first entry of the category of a coputer game called Diplomacy, but represents a whole category on it's own.

OK, you explained why you think it should be included on Wikipedia, but not why it wasn't unambiguously promotional. Go Phightins! (talk) 21:43, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is not promoting, it is informing. I was looking at the list of entries for Commodore 64 games and noticed, this game was not mentioned at all (wasn't even on the list of "all games"), so I first edited the list. Then I saw the whole category was missing (Diplomacy computer games). It's like a movie based on a book would not be part of Wikipedia and the book would be.

I am not trying to promote the game itself, but raise awareness that Diplomacy computer games exist and that they are a category in itself.

I realize there are far less people that would search for Diplomacy (as a key word) in order to find a computer game than there would be people searching under Diplomacy (as a key word) to find the deffinition of the word itself. Yet when I was looking for it, there was a whole lack of this category.

So it contributes to the unambiguity of the key word Diplomacy and is not meant as a promotion of a game over 20 years of age, which is not being actively sold at least since the begining of the millenia. Is there any suggestion, what else could I do to make this entry "less promotional," if it really seems to be such? I could add the entries for the game on other computer platforms as well - if this might seem to be promoting only one version of the game and not the whole category.
