Beautiful and heart-warming

[edit]

I think it is beautiful and heart-warming that someone has taken the time to produce this fine summary of the Dodger Dog. Of course, they are rather a disappointment in real life! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.217.93.82 (talkcontribs) 06:35, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WHAT?!?!

[edit]

Dodger Dogs a "disappointment"?? you must be seriously in need of a tastebud transfusion for having even thinking such a dreadful remark about the heart and soul dietary supplement of the GREATEST fans of the GREATEST team in baseball's past, present and furture. I say SHAME on you! In short they are delicious. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.234.110.106 (talk) 02:59, 26 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

  • The Dodger Dog is a hot dog named after the Major League Baseball franchise that sells them (the Los Angeles Dodgers). This 5 inch ) [1] ballpark frankfurter wrapped in a steamed bun is consumed by the millions over the course of the baseball season. Can someone fix this? 5 inch hotdog or 15 incher? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.176.233.118 (talk) 23:11, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:DodgerDog.PNG

[edit]

Image:DodgerDog.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:37, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unappitizing?

[edit]
Does this look appitizing to you?

Maybe I'm just a knitpicker, but the current image of the Dodger Dog (shown right) just...doesn't look all that appitizing to me. I mean, sure. A hot dog's a hot dog, for the most part. But if you saw that Dodger Dog as opposed to, say...the hot dog posted on the hot dog page... Well...which looks more appitizing to YOU?

In short, I feel the page needs yet ANOTHER image in place of the existing one. ~ Joseph Collins [U|T|C] 08:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I TOTALLY agree...it's almost ot the point of having a non-neutral point of view...--65.102.142.223 (talk) 02:29, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I 2nd this motion (or do I third it?) and suggest somebody takes a better picture. Apple8800 (talk) 22:37, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Smart & Final Stores

[edit]

Smart & Final Stores in the Las Vegas, NV, area sell 18 packs of Dodger Dogs. Apple8800 (talk) 22:35, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sales numbers

[edit]

According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council, the projected number of 2011 season hot dog sold at Dodger Season was 2 million — establishing Farmer John Dodger Dogs as the leader in hot dog sales of all those sold in Major League Baseball ballparks. The source to be cited is: "Stadiums' Signature Dogs." Urner Barry's Reporter Vol. 6. No. 4 (2011): 8. Print.

Any challenges to this edit? Otherwise, I'll correct the incorrect and uncited 1.2 million number in the first paragraph in the next week or so. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clint2011 (talkcontribs) 01:05, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sold in Universal City, CA?

[edit]

I haven't been to Universal CityWalk in a few months, but I'm almost positive they don't sell Dodger Dogs anymore. Their "Dining" page (http://www.citywalkhollywood.com/dining.html) doesn't show it either, but only "Pink's Famous Hot Dogs." Unless whoever wrote that meant outside of CityWalk... Just want to make sure. Thanks! 2605:E000:ACC8:D400:A464:59F0:EAA8:42E (talk) 03:03, 21 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
