Proper history of this remarkable institution needed

Dublin University Press is one of the oldest printing houses in Ireland, with a history going back to 1734. Michael Gill's firm were involved in printing for the marque for a brief part of that time, but the marque was always owned by Trinity, until they let it go to Brunswick Press in 1976 (see article link below). This Wikipedia entry needs a proper revision, giving the full history of the press, all of which may be found in: Kinane (1994) A History of the Dublin University Press: 1734 - 1976, Dublin: Gill & Macmillan.

In 2021 the marque (available freely following the demise of Brunswick Press) was re-acquired by staff from Trinity College. While this page is being updated a redirect to Gill's page is not appropriate
