List of Roth creations

[edit]

Has anybody ever considered adding a list of Roth's cars, motorcylces, and other vehicles? Perhaps even a Navbox? ----DanTD 13:58, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

I re-created Category:Ed Roth. Before making a navbox or list page, I'd focus on creating new articles for Mysterion (car), Road Agent (car), The Outlaw (car), and any other major works. If you've got sufficient source material to justify an article. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 20:50, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know of a couple that aren't mentioned in the article: the Yellow Fang rail dragster and the Rotar - a smallish custom car. A list would be cool to have available here at Wikipedia. Perhaps a project for when I have some free time to run down sources.THX1136 (talk) 15:07, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Date Discrepancy

[edit]

In this article, the date for the Orbitron's discovery in Mexico is 2008. In the Orbitron article it is stated as 2007. Do any of the editors know which is correct? I'll look around for clarification also. Thanks!THX1136 (talk) 15:05, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

1999 Lecture

[edit]

The lecture quote is

"expect criticism; if you can't do it get help; you don't need fancy tools or a fancy garage; and if you fulfill your duty Heavenly Father will bless you in what you do."

Should be "accept criticism..." ? It's quoting an article though and so should it be [sic] ? But it's a lecture, so he was talking -- there can't be a typo. Link is dead. I'm going to correct if nobody else comments. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Modernla (talkcontribs) 21:25, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I could see where one could argue either word is appropriate. I wasn't there so I don't know what was truly said. Immediate context doesn't really give a definitive clue either in my mind. Noticed that it was changed, but do not want to upset the other editor by changing it back. It very well may be it should be 'accept' instead of 'expect'.
