I am the Campaign Manager for Eddie Melton for Mayor. My name is Carla Morgan and I am an attorney practicing in Indiana. I can be reached at Carla@EddieMelton.com
Agfakulty is making updates to Senator Melton’s page. He is authorized by Sen. Melton and his mayoral campaign.
If you have any doubts, please visit www.EddieMelton.com.
I ask that whomever is monitoring his Wikipedia today, March 29, 2023 please stop making contradictory changes. Please do not revert back to the old picture of Sen. Melton. Please allow his staff to update his page.

Hi. Thank you for letting us know that you and Agfakulty work for Senator Melton. As such, you both have conflicts of interest with the subject of the article. Please read through Wikipedia:Conflict of interest to learn more about how we handle those here. We would be happy to work with you to make edits to the page that are in line with Wikipedia's key policies, such as neutral point of view and verifiability. Everything needs to be cited with reliable sources. Please let us know if you have any other questions. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:37, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That may be possible, as this article is fairly short. We need to use reliable sources to cite any info that we add. They should be independent from the campaign. We can include the campaign website link so that readers can find it, but we need news sources, like from The Times of NW Indiana, to verify what is added. Does the Melton campaign have a collection of those sources that we can integrate? – Muboshgu (talk) 01:31, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A number of news articles about his legislative history and accomplishments are collected on his website EddieMelton.com. We are adding details of his biography such as his educational background for which his website, or the Senator himself are the sources. We are writing from a neutral point of view. We are going to post again today and we would hope that instead of challenging the content based on an assumption that we “have a conflict of interest” or that the content is biased, that you read the article and check it against publicly available sources before assuming that it is biased or factually flawed.
